Alterac Grave Robber
Take 50 graveyards in Alterac
Valley.
Tips: Graveyards are not
very difficult to assault. Any enemy guards protecting the
flag are pretty weak and easy to kill. It's mainly a matter of
competition from your teammates who may also be trying to capture
the flag, or nearby enemies that are trying to control it.
If your main goal is to assault
graveyards you can run directly towards one when the game begins.
As Snowfall is the closest neutral graveyard, you may want to attempt to be the first
person there to capture it. Then you could try to run for the
next closest graveyard (Stonehearth for horde, Iceblood for
alliance). Often, you can get to the next flag before it's
been assaulted. To assault a graveyard it must be neutral or
enemy owned. If you defend a graveyard that your team owned
and the enemy attacked, you will get credit for defending the
graveyard not assaulting it. You have to click on the flag and
allow it to channel for it to count as an assault. If you are
interrupted you will have to start over and click on it again.
If you and another teammate are running
towards the same graveyard, you can attempt to let them grab aggro
from the enemy guards so that you can make the assault without
interruption.

Alterac Valley All-Star
In a single Alterac Valley battle,
assault a graveyard, defend a graveyard, assault a tower, defend a
tower and slay someone in the Field of Strife.
Tips:
This achievement may take a few attempts to complete. You may
find a particular system or order that you prefer.
One way
that this can be achieved is to run directly toward a graveyard and
assault it (you must go through the 8 second capture timer).
The closest one that either team is able to capture is Snowfall
Graveyard. To assault a graveyard just click on it and wait
for your capture to complete. Once you assault this, you run to the nearest tower
or the nearest tower that isn't captured. To capture the
tower, run up to the top and click on the flag. Once this is
captured, you focus on defending a tower. To defend a tower it
must have been assault by the enemy but not yet fully captured.
There are add-ons that you can get that allow you to see timers for
each of the towers and graveyards. You may be able to
sneak in your Field of Strife kill while doing these.
Another
way to do this is by running straight for a tower. This may be
wise because there are only 4 towers and if your team successfully
captures them without the enemy defending, you will not get a chance
to assault one. Once your tower is capped, then you can
attempt to either assault a graveyard or defend a tower.
Graveyards are fairly easy to assault, especially ones that your
teammates are avoiding (you may make your team upset but you get
credit for the assault which is what matters for this achievement).
Defending towers is slightly more tricky so you may want to keep you
eye out for any opportunity to do this. Chances are that if
you've gone and assaulted an enemy tower, there will be a friendly
tower available for you to defend.

Alterac Valley Veteran
Complete 100 victories in Alterac
Valley.
Tips: If you are short on Alterac
Valley wins, single queue for Alterac Valley along with one other
battleground that you need achievements in or just want to play
while you wait for AV to become available. AV queues
can be long so it's usually preferable to play another battleground
in the mean time.
If you attempt to do other Alterac Valley
achievements, chances are very high that you complete those before
you achieve your 100 victories.

Alterac Valley Victory
Win Alterac Valley.
Tips:
This achievement can probably be obtained within your first few
Alterac Valley matches, if not the first one. This achievement
depends more on your group as a whole as opposed to you as a single
player. You would no be able to achieve a victory without the
help of your teammates even though your contribution can greatly
alter the outcome of the match.

Frostwolf Perfection
Win Alterac Valley without losing a
tower or captain. You must also control all of the Alliances towers.
Tips: This is a horde achievement
and the alliance equivalent is "Stormpike Perfection". This achievement requires that
you defend and protect your team's captain, something that most
players don't typically do. It shouldn't take your entire team
to do this, just a few good PvP players and maybe a healer or two.
The more help you have, the better. However, this can be
achieved with just a few people participating.
If
you are able to get the assistance of some teammates, run in to
Iceblood Garrison to protect Galvangar and wait for the enemy team to
arrive. Usually the enemy will not expect people to be
guarding the Captain so, hopefully, you will only have to battle
with a small number of enemy players. Essentially you do your best to keep them from killing your Captain.
The scenario you are hoping for is that you are able to wipe the
enemy so that they are unable to attempt to kill your Captain again
in an organized group. If possible, leave a few players in
with your Captain until the game is over, just in case the enemy
attacks again.
In the meantime, you will have players running
North towards the enemy base to capture their towers as usual.
The people that were protecting your Captain should be close enough
to your own team's towers to attempt to easily defend them. As
well, you will need to protect your towers that are far South.
This can be done by simply having players on complete defense, or by
using recall trinkets (obtained through and AV quest line).

Loyal Defender
In Alterac Valley, kill 50 enemy
players in the Hall of the Stormpike (Alliance), Hall of the
Frostwolf (Horde).
Tips: This
achievement is completed when playing defense. Alliance would
stand inside the Hall of Stormpike and horde would stand inside of
the Hall of the Frostwolf. When enemy players come to kill the
General, you attempt to kill the enemy players.
This
achievement is typically only doable when there are several other
players on defense as well. Otherwise, you will most likely be
outnumbered. However, if successful, you can complete this
achievement rather quickly because there are usually quite a few
enemy players attempting to kill the General, and you can kill the
same player more than once.

Stormpike Perfection
Win Alterac Valley without losing a
tower or captain. You must also control all of the Hordes towers.
Tips: This is an alliance achievement
and the horde equivalent is "Frostwolf Perfection". This achievement requires that
you defend and protect your team's captain, something that most
players don't typically do. It shouldn't take your entire team
to do this, just a few good PvP players and maybe a healer or two.
The more help you have, the better. However, this can be
achieved with just a few people participating.
If
you are able to get the assistance of some teammates, run in to
Stonehearth Outpost to protect Balinda and wait for the enemy team to
arrive. Usually the enemy will not expect people to be
guarding the Captain so, hopefully, you will only have to battle
with a small number of enemy players. Essentially you do your best to keep them from killing your Captain.

The Alterac Blitz
Win Alterac Valley in 6 minutes.
Tips: You will need to have the
majority of your team participating in this achievement in order to
complete it. Most people are afraid that it won't work and
will cause a turtle. Even if you do get enough players to
cooperate it may not be successful. However, it can be very
simple.
Essentially, you are going to want a good majority of
your teammates to run directly towards the enemy General.
Alliance would travel South to Drek'Thar and Horde would Travel
North to Vanndar Stormpike. You will need tanks and healers to
battle the General.
You may not have time to wait for
towers to cap, graveyards to cap, or to kill the Captain.
It still doesn't hurt to send a couple players to capture towers
and graveyards,
especially to prepare for the case that the Blitz doesn't work.
Blitz fails are currently quite common, don't be discouraged.
Before players go and charge the General, as many members as
possible of your team should quickly gather in front. Some
people may be lagging behind and these people may be your needed
healers or tanks. It is always good to run in as tight as a
group as possible. Once people are fairly positioned, the tank
can pull the boss and any Warmasters that are guarding him.
DPS should focus solely on the general and not the Warmasters.
As long as the tank survives and the dps is fair, the boss should go
down rather quickly.
Remember, it is very easy to run
out of time and you only have 6 minutes. Keep in mind at all
times that you must act very quickly.

The Sickly Gazelle
In Alterac Valley, kill an enemy in
the Field of Strife before they dismount.
Tips:
You can get this achievement by killing an enemy yourself or having
a teammate near you kill them. The best way to do this would
be to wait in the Field of Strife (located in the center of the map)
for an enemy to run through on their mount. Preferably you
would like to have a friend or two with you so that you can cause
enough damage to the enemy before they dismount and attack back.

Tower Defense
Defend 50 towers in Alterac Valley.
Tips: You are only able to "defend"
your own team's towers. That is, recapturing an enemy tower after
it has been defended by them only counts as a capture, not a
defense. To defend a tower, you have to wait for an enemy to
attack one. There is a capture time of 3 minutes so you have
until then to defend it or else it will be destroyed.
Although any class can achieve this, defending flags is probably
easiest for classes that can stealth, or even go invisible.
This is because these classes can typically get right up to the flag
without being detected. The main thing is to focus
on the flag. If you have several teammates with you, go
directly for the flag and allow your teammates to battle with the
enemy players.
If you can stealth in and there is just one
enemy guarding the flag, it may be possible to sneak in behind a
wall and click on the flag without being detected. If you are
a class that has a pet or a mage with mirror images, you may be able
to use these to redirect an enemy's focus off of you long enough to
capture the flag which takes 8 seconds if you are not interrupted.
This may
be one of the most difficult achievements to obtain and possibly one
of the lengthiest as well. There are only four towers
and sometimes the enemy does not attack them all. The ones
that are attacked may be heavily defended or you may have
competition from players on your team also attempting to defend
them. To earn this achievement it may help at times to be
somewhat selfish. That is, you may want to concentrate solely
on defending a tower (clicking on the flag) while your teammates fend off the enemy.
You can get lucky in some battles where, for instance, just one
enemy player is running back and forth between two towers capturing
them, giving you enough time to defend one while they capture the
other. Essentially, you will have to keep an eye on this.
It also helps if you have a recall trinket which you obtain through
an AV quest line. Keep an eye on the towers and focus on defense
and you will find that this achievement is not as difficult as it
may appear.
