Cloud Nine

In a single Twin peaks battle, capture and return a total of 9 flags.

Tips:  This is probably one of the more difficult Twin Peaks achievements to get.  You will likely need to focus and be prepared to put in quite a bit of effort to obtain this.

Regardless of how many flags you manage to capture, you will still need to return flags.  Even if you capture all three flags, you will need to return 6 of them.  If you are running the flag it is likely that you will not be going after the enemy flag carrier because you will not want to risk the flag you are carrying.  Therefore, you may want to focus solely on returning flags as you will probably get more opportunity to get the achievement this way.

What you will want to do is be near the enemy flag carrier as often as possible.  If the enemy does not have your flag, you can wait on defense in your team's flag room.  Wait for an enemy to grab your flag and chase them down until they are killed and you can click the flag.  Be prepared to click the flag as they are dying so that someone else doesn't click it first.

If you kill the enemy flag carrier in their base, immediately run back towards your base and prepare to hunt down the next enemy flag carrier.

Double Jeopardy

Win a Twin Peaks battle after being behind by a score of 0 to 2.

Tips:  This achievement can be obtained by accident or with your team planning it.  Obtaining it by accident simply means that you did not intentionally allow the enemy to capture 2 flags before your team overcame them.  Planning this achievement would mean that your team allows the enemy to capture 2 flags before attempting to overcome them.

I your team is planning this achievement, it is probably best to let the enemy make the captures as soon as possible to give your team enough time to capture 2 flags.  Remember that if your team is behind 0/2, your team only has to capture 2 flags to win.  In a tie game, the last team to capture is the winning team.

It would be good to assign at least one player to be near the enemy flag and ready to pick it up when needed.   If the enemy believes you are playing poorly you will likely catch them off guard.  Make sure your flag carrier is protected (have at least a healer protecting them) and do whatever you need to make sure the other team does not capture the flag.

Drag a Maw

Kill 5 Orcs in a single Twin Peaks battle.

Tips:  This is an Alliance only achievement.  You do not personally have to get the killing blows on the Orcs, you just have to be near a teammate that kills one to get credit.  This is a fairly easy achievement that most players obtain without trying.  As long as your team is getting killing blows and you are amongst the fighting you have a very good chance of obtaining this achievement.

Fire, Walk With Me

Grab the flag and capture it in under 25 seconds.

Tips:  For this achievement, you will need some form of speed enhancement.  There are speed boost buffs located outside each of the bases.  There in one on the Westside just outside of the Alliance base, and on on the Eastside just outside of the horde base.  You can also make use of other speed enhancing abilities such as Blink, Dash, etc.

You will need to make a near perfect run from the enemy's flag room to your base.  This means you will need to avoid being slowed by such things as water or movement impairing effects from enemy players.  As well, the enemy cannot be in control of your team's flag because you will not be able to capture it if they are.

Basically, you will want to grab the flag and immediately run towards the speed boost buff.  Grab the buff and head towards your base in the straightest way possible avoiding as many obstacles as possible.  Use whatever speed enhancing abilities you have as often as possible, keeping them on constant cool down.

I'm in the Black Lodge

In a single Twin peaks battle, kill two flag carriers before they leave the Dragonmaw Flag Room.

Tips:  This is a Horde only achievement.  The Dragonmaw Flag Room is the horde flag room.  You will want to stay on defense to obtain this achievement.  It is better if you have help from at least one other teammate because you will need to kill the flag carrier as quickly as possible and you may not have the necessary damage output.

You will need to kill two flag carriers (can be the same person or two different people) before they leave your team's flag room.  The flag carrier cannot leave through any of the three exits/entryways or you will not get credit for this achievement when they die.  Try to use whatever slows, traps, stuns or other movement impairing abilities you may have and attack the flag carrier as quickly and with as much damage as possible.

I'm in the White Lodge

In a single Twin peaks battle, kill two flag carriers before they leave the Wildhammer Stronghold.

Tips: This is an Alliance only achievement.  The Wildhammer Stronghold is the alliance flag room.  You will want to stay on defense to obtain this achievement.  It is better if you have help from at least one other teammate because you will need to kill the flag carrier as quickly as possible and you may not have the necessary damage output.

Master of Twin Peaks

Complete the Twin Peaks achievements listed below.

Tips

Peak Speed

Win Twin Peaks in under 7 minutes.

Tips: For this achievement, you will want to have more than one flag carrier on you team or at least have players that are assisting the flag carrier.  There will likely not be enough time to have one person run back and forth grabbing and capturing the flag.

Have your flag carrier and assistants assigned before the match begins.   Your flag carrier and any healers or assistant they need will run directly to the enemy flag room to grab the flag.  The rest of the team will be grouped up going after the enemy flag carrier.  If there is no current flag carrier, your team will need to do their best to prevent the enemy team from getting your flag.  If the enemy gains control of your flag it is imperative that your team return it as soon as possible so that your flag carrier can capture the flag.  If the enemy controls your flag you team will not be able to cap and there is not much time to waste.  you will also want to make sure that your flag carrier get across the map relatively safe and isn't slowed too much.

As your main flag carrier is carrying the flag, have another player wait in or near the enemy flag room prepared to pick it up.   This player will grab the flag and run it as far as they can towards your team's base until it is safe to pass it off to your main flag carrier to finish the run and capture.  The assistant will then head back to the enemy base and prepare to pick up the flag again and repeat the process.  If the assistant is unable to pass off the flag, have your main flag carrier run back to the enemy base while the assistant captures it.

Soaring Spirits

Kill 100 flag carriers in Twin Peaks.

Tips:  You can earn this achievement over several Twin Peaks battles.  Every time you get credit for killing a flag carrier in a battle in counts towards this achievement and carries over  to the next battle.  As well, you do not have to get the killing blow on the flag carrier, just be near enough to get credit for the kill when someone on your team gets the killing blow.

Top Defender
Return 50 flags as a defender in Twin Peaks.

Tips
:  You can earn this achievement over several Twin Peaks battles, you do not have to return all 50 in one battle.

If you are attempting to go for this specific achievement it is always best to stay near to wherever the enemy flag carrier is at all times.  If the enemy does not have possession of your team's flag then stay near your flag at your team's base until an enemy player comes to pick it up.  Once the enemy has your flag in their possession, stay on the flag carrier until the flag is returned then head back towards your base to repeat.

If there are teammates of yours also trying to kill the flag carrier, be prepared to click on the flag immediately once the flag carrier dies.  This might mean that you stop attacking them when they are low on health and focus solely on clicking the flag to help ensure that you get credit for returning the flag and someone doesn't click it before you.

Twin Peaking

Win 2 Twin Peaks battles.

Tips:  As the description says, you must win 2 Twin Peaks battles to earn this achievement.  This is just slightly different than most battlegrounds in which you get an achievement for the first battle you win.

You may receive this achievement after your first two Twin Peaks battles or it may take several before you get this.  Although you play a very large role in the outcome of each match, whether you win or lose depends largely on your group as a whole.   Overall just try your best and hope your team succeeds.

Twin Peaks Mountaineer

Perform a roar emote with the flag while under the effect of both a speed power up and the berserking power up.

Tips:  This achievement takes a little bit of coordination and good timing.  There are two locations in Twin Peaks in which you can find the speed power up.  There are also two locations in which you can find the berserking power up.   Unfortunately neither of the speed power ups are close to the berserking power ups so you have to run quite a distance from one to the other.  You can view the locations of these buffs under the Twin Peaks section of the MAPS page.

You will likely want to pick up the berserking buff first because the speed power up will probably not last in time for you to make it in time to the berserker.  So, if you are an alliance player taking the horde flag, you can run out the "water side" and pick up the berserking buff located at the hut across the water.  You can then run relatively straight up the west side to the speed power up located just outside the alliance flag room.  If you are a horde player taking the alliance flag, you can run out the east side of the flag room and grab the berserking buff located in the hut just south of the alliance base.  Then run fairly straight down the east side of the map, the  crossing the river and up to the speed buff located just outside the horde flag room.

As soon as you receive the berserking buff, regardless of which side you are taking the flag, you will need to make a near flawless run to the speed power up buff.  You will have just about enough time to make it to the speed buff before berserker runs out if you make a near perfect run.  You should attempt to avoid any enemy players the best you can without running off course.  you will want run as straight as possible to the speed buff.  Use whatever abilities you have that could boost your speed or prevent you from being trapped or otherwise slowed by the enemy.

Before you reach the speed power up, you should have your /roar emote prepared so you are not stuck trying to type it out.  You can either make a macro and bind it to a key that you can hit quickly or have it typed out and be prepared to hit it as soon as you receive the speed buff.

Tips:  This is a Horde only achievement.  You do not personally have to get the killing blows on the Dwarves, you just have to be near a teammate that kills one to get credit.  This is a fairly easy achievement that most players obtain without trying.  As long as your team is getting killing blows and you are amongst the fighting you have a very good chance of obtaining this achievement.
